Clinical Supervision
At CISLT, we believe that great clinicians never stop learning. High-quality clinical supervision provides a safe, supportive space to reflect, develop confidence, enhance clinical reasoning and ensure the highest standards of care for the people we support.
We offer individual and group supervision for Speech and Language Therapists working across the NHS, independent practice, education and social care. Whether you are newly qualified, returning to practice, developing a specialist interest or looking for an experienced clinician to support complex decision-making or developing leaderships skills, our supervision sessions are tailored to your individual goals.
Supervision: £90.00 per hour

Our supervision is collaborative rather than directive. We aim to create an open, non-judgemental environment where clinicians can explore challenges, celebrate successes and continue developing their skills with confidence.
Sessions are available online via Microsoft Teams or in person at one of our Essex clinics, with flexible one-off or ongoing supervision packages available for individuals, teams and organisations.

Clinical supervision provides an opportunity to step away from the demands of day-to-day practice, reflect on challenging situations and continue developing as a clinician or leader. I offer flexible online supervision for Speech and Language Therapists working across the NHS, independent practice and other healthcare settings. Sessions can be booked as a one-off consultation or as part of an ongoing supervision arrangement.
My clinical expertise is in adult neurology and dysphagia, supporting therapists with complex clinical reasoning, assessment, management and service delivery. Alongside this, I also work with clinicians who are developing their leadership skills or running independent practices, offering mentoring around healthcare leadership, business growth, governance, quality improvement and creating sustainable person-centred services.
Every supervision session is tailored to your individual needs. You may want a space to discuss a difficult case, explore the evidence behind your clinical decisions, gain confidence in managing complex presentations, or think strategically about your career or business. Whatever your goals, my aim is to provide a supportive environment where you feel able to ask questions, reflect openly and leave with practical ideas and renewed confidence. My supervision style is collaborative, solution focused and grounded in real-world clinical and leadership experience.
Lois Beecham
I am able to offer online one hour clinical supervision sessions for Speech and Language Therapists working in independent practice, the NHS, and other settings. Sessions are available as regular ongoing supervision or one-off consultations and are tailored to your individual clinical needs. My specialist areas include Autism, Gestalt Language Processing (GLP), Natural Language Acquisition (NLA), and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), with a strong focus on neurodiversity-affirming practice.
I believe supervision should be a supportive, collaborative space where you can reflect, problem-solve, and grow in confidence. Whether you're looking for guidance with complex cases, developing your clinical reasoning, or simply want dedicated time to think through your practice, my aim is to provide supervision that feels encouraging, practical, and empowering.
